Our History
The Accounting Society is the oldest club at Baruch College established in 1931 to prepare a diverse group of business students for the Accounting and financial services fields. Since our inception, we have organized events that enable our members to build professional relationships that lead to advancements in their careers.
The Accounting Society is open to students of all ethnicities, academic standings, and majors!
Our Mission
The Accounting Society is committed to creating a platform where ambitious students can earn opportunities through dedication and continuous learning. We strive to identify and nurture the best talent by providing the resources and support necessary for professional and personal growth.
We believe a successful career culminates from a lifelong pursuit of knowledge and self-actualization.
Our Philosophy
Meritocracy
In the Accounting Society, meritocracy means that rewards and opportunities are based on individual talent, effort, and performance. We value recognizing and promoting members who demonstrate exceptional skills and dedication, ensuring that everyone has the chance to advance based on their contributions and achievements.
